May 16th – EC will do an activity about watersheds at the Blackleggs Memorial Park for the Kiski-Conemaugh Stream Team with 5th grade students from Saltsburg Elementary School
June 4th - Annual Membership Meeting/Picnic at Tanoma AMD Wetlands. We will begin at 5:30 with a potluck dinner, followed by a short meeting and the presentation of the 2nd Annual Evergreen Award. Join us as we elect board members and officers and recognize our dedicated volunteers.
June 8th and 9th – Kyle Heckert will be doing his Eagle Scout project at Tanoma. He will be building a shed to store all our outdoor equipment. If you are free that day and want to help please let us know.
August 24th – Friends of the Parks Renewable Energy Program at Tanoma. Come hear renewable energy guru Dan Boone discuss the renewable energy systems we have in place at Tanoma.
Iron Oxide Art display at Micheal B’s Shoe store is done. Items that were not bid on are on our web site marketplace.
