Trompe goes on line at Tanoma

Our new Trompe system went on line this week at Tanoma. It still needs a little tweaking and they will be working on it for another week or so but it is an incredible feat of construction! Thanks to Tim Danehy and his crew for all their hard work. We hope to see major improvements in the systems ability to clean iron out of the water over the winter! Stay tuned for more information. The water power creates air pressure that will feed 3 sleds of 20 diffusers each. These sleds are positioned in the first pond which will increase the dissolved oxygen in the pond helping to drop out the iron. 20151112_141509 DSCN0384 DSCN0359
